My experience with charities recently is what I must call beyond excellent. I like to buy older cars, put them back in order, show them, and then sell them. I have quite a number of striking, vintage cars which I would be happy to give to charity. I did not just want to donate them for them to be driven daily; rather an auction was my desire for these veteran belles. I have spoken with Goodwill Industries and the American Red Cross in the Washington D.C. area and they have excellent hearts for charitable efforts. Both charities are genuine in their love for people and relate in a professional, charitable manner to all those they encounter.
Goodwill Industries and the American Red Cross recommendedsuggested that I hold a vintage car auction for charitable purposes. This would require several others to donate vintage cars for auctions as I only have fewer than a dozen cars. At any rate, I was impressed with the amount of ideas both of the D. C. charities posed to me and the interest they showed at my involvement with the community. In the future, I plan to pursue this idea further and possibly hold my auction for charity.
People do not have to plan car auctions to be involved in this wonderful work. Both of these charities accept auto donations and gifts of every kind. If you need to get rid of an old broken down car or if you are like me and have a vintage car and you would like to help charities and your community, contact the American Red Cross or the Goodwill Industries for advice on how to go about this. The procedure is really perfectly simple and it costs nothing. So, if your car is sitting in your front yard and you don t know what to do with it, here is a worthwhile option!
Donating your car to charity is a wonderful way to make a contribution to society! Auto donation is a form of charity that is becoming more frequent and my heart is personally deeply attached to cars. I am thrilled that something as seemingly unimportant as a broken down car can offer help to a needy family in infinite ways.
