53Chelby 2010/02/06 at 7:44 PM: This is a beautiful car but it is not an original Shelby, it is a GT convertible with Shelby parts. It has a GT gas cap that Shelby did not use, it has the GT rear valance with duel exhaust that Shelby did not use, it has a hood scoop that was not available until ‘67, it does not have the dash mounted tach, and it is in a non-original color. If this was one of the six convertibles that Shelby made in ‘66 it would probably be in original condition.
