www.Alfred.TV READ ME FIRST In this video, I barge into the showroom of my local Corvette dealer, after having my 2001 C5 serviced, to shoot some footage for you all of the ZR1. READ THE REVIEWS! ================== The New York Times calls it "A reminder that the Corvette is still a beloved American icon and that this division of General Motors truly created greatness with the refined engineering of this street legal race car." RottenTomatoes.com says "It's been given 20% rotten - a one star ...

No, you’re the biased piece of shit. Old Americrap cars are rebuilt, it’s easy and sometimes cheaper so that would be why you see a “79 Stingray on autotrader.

rapinNtapin January 24, 2010 at 2:59 AM

Are you whipped? Mercedes lasting longer than Vettes? LOL is that why i cant go and buy a Stingray 1979 Vette on autotrader so easily in mint condition… stfu bias piece of shit.

DeadofWinter321 January 24, 2010 at 3:14 AM

@rapinNtapin Well the Vette must own every other car in your world but no one would catch me in one because I don’t like getting made fun of, I’d rather pick up a fancy Mercedes/BMW for cheaper than that, and they last you twice as long as a Vette. haha

rapinNtapin January 24, 2010 at 3:56 AM

“GM JUNKIE” lol for 125,000$ i get a carbon fibre body and 638hp and btw the best racing brakes in the world… Vette owns.

omfg a zr1 with a supercharger and a nice body and color thats a good deal better than an import thats 250000

competitive driving – for street racers and New Jersey drivers

DeadofWinter321 January 24, 2010 at 6:17 AM

Why am I lead to believe that you’re taking up for the ZR1 because you’re like a “GM junkie?”

rapinNtapin January 24, 2010 at 7:02 AM

Easy there… “They shake like crazy.. That’s called poor engineering” no thats can infrastructure… its a 638hp V8 engine… you know how much PSI is running from the exhaust manifold? engineering on that car is superb… its lapped Nurbrgring in 7min 26s? thats inpressive the 2010 id say can do the lap in 7min 20s… GM put launch control and onboard computer traction system on it…

ousoonerfan92 January 24, 2010 at 7:04 AM

hahaha and the last time I checked, there are no speed limits that go up to 170 so besides the race track and the autobahn, when would you ever need the “high performance” the corvette brings?

vetteboy453 January 24, 2010 at 7:26 AM

the interior isnt that bad i admit it could be alot better but its not terrible

maxinator39 January 24, 2010 at 8:00 AM

For 120k you get a performance car that performs.
Last time I checked, you should be concentrating on the road during high performance driving, rather than the strange smelling and colored leather found in porsches.

ousoonerfan92 January 24, 2010 at 8:04 AM

you’d think for a $121,000 corvette, you would get a better interior than what it has. idk im no expert

branden1979 January 24, 2010 at 8:50 AM

Yeah they shake. But nothing is gonna happen to them. GM has had years and years of experience in building them. Now im not a huge corvette fan. But I would still take one considering it can rape so many 200 grand and 300grand cars in street races.

DeadofWinter321 January 24, 2010 at 9:24 AM

@branden1979 I don’t mean price-wise. But it’d be insane to buy a Corvette worth that much. You could have a nicer car. Have you seen the exhaust tips when the ZR1 takes off? They shake like crazy..That’s called poor engineering. (And it’s American..Once again).

branden1979 January 24, 2010 at 9:36 AM

How can 121 grand be cheap? And how will it kill you? Its one of the best handling sports cars in the world proven by its Nurburgring lap time.

Im not saying you guys are wrong i just thought we were talking about the same car but we are not. but there are so many vids of the Z06 running 10.7′s on here now and the ZR1 running 9′s that its hard to keep up. Both are just wicked machines.

ClumzyThief666 January 24, 2010 at 11:48 AM

he also ran a bonestock zr1 at 10.74… look it up

ArmaDino22 January 24, 2010 at 12:24 PM

actually the ZR1 ran 10.73 on drag radials while the Z06 ran 10.85 also on drag radials, not a big difference, but ranger said ZR1′s time still can be improved..

DeadofWinter321 January 24, 2010 at 12:57 PM

Lmfao! That Vette screams “BUY ME!! I’LL HAVE YOU KILLED WITHIN YEARS BECAUSE I’M SO CHEAP!”

Topfueltrooper January 24, 2010 at 1:22 PM

lol* then you woke up from your dream looser. especially if you want either or those Frods.

canah1 January 24, 2010 at 1:33 PM

was it a ZR1 that ran the 10.8? becuz there is a video done by ranger who ran a 10.8 in a stock z06 didn’t know if we were talking about the same car? if we are its a z06.

canah1 January 24, 2010 at 1:56 PM

30 pounds of boost would put it in to the 6′s bro i mean they were able to put a shelby gt 500 with all that weight into the 7′s with 23lbs of boost, and this thing is not only lighter but hella quicker. the stock z06 can run 10′s on drag slicks so yeah this thing on 30 can do 6′s i would imagine. check the vids on youtube if you don’t believe me.
