GM will give it another go at Nurburgring with the 2010 ZR1 with improved traction controls specific for track racing.
In the 7:26.4 video, they used jim mero to make the record run for the ZR1, but he is a gm engineer not a professional race car driver.
Thats a stupid opinion war to post, especially sense you brought it up on this vid against the sea of comparison vids. if you want to have a flame war about it, go where they are actually comparing the two.
yeah too bad the FORD GT is better than a ZR1
if you never have driven on a circuit like Spa F., Nurburgring or suzuka you cant judge them. These circuits are so much different from others.. though I have to agree with you, GM should give it another go!
Nice video like the tach display on screen.
Great time but the BMW M3 CSL beats it with a 7:22.8 including maneuvering around 2 slower cars on track (-2 secs) so ya there that lol.

i have to say, awesome driving. i know your a proffesional, but thats good driving. i hate to critisize on somewone who is far better at somethiing than i am, but i think he could have beaten this time, it seems like most of his corner exits had sort of low rpms. but i dont know what the tourque/ horsepower curves are like. maybe not, but i think its worth another go:)

yeah its getting heavier and heavier, then bader handling and then it gets more expensive. but the main diffrence is the understatement and the show. the most sportcar seller say you buy the best show an car with a lp640 roadster

ZR1 is beating multi-million dollar EuroPEON sports cars. It’s currently 6th place on the ‘gring but it costs a mere fraction of the price. ZR1 is Just behind the ENZO the Zonda!! What makes it even better is that the average man can buy one

and IF they could get 0.3 in every single round, that would make a whooping 2,4 SECONDS DIFFERENCE PER DRIVING HOUR …. it’s ridiculous.
In a 12-24 hour endurance race, .3 secs every lap is CRUSHING!!!
