if only you all knew what it is like to go that fast… i work in miami and rented a base 2008 c6 at avis and took it down i27 in the glades… i got it all the way to 190… cars i was passing looked like the were going in reverse and everything was a blur when i looked to my left… truly amazing for a stock car… probably the fastest i will attempt to go ever again…

the car is tested in europe because america does not have tracks we have dragstrips, europe has great tracks,
and the road laws are much to stricked and where i live in michigan the roads are shitty as hell.

The Z06, and ZR1 was designed and tested in Germany, then brought to America once all the tests were good for mass production. The Camaro was designed and first car built in Australia (Holden Company) then test in Finland for winter condition and driven all over Europe before mass production in America.

As Disbam said, you still haven’t disproved that it wasn’t engineered by Americans. Now if you think GM used Vauxhall or Holden parts for the ZR1, you’re quite retarded.

rolltideroll14 October 30, 2009 at 9:40 AM

WOW just imagine getting hit by a car going this fast LOL

disbsam333 October 31, 2009 at 2:02 PM

Nice, you still didn’t prove that this car was designed from non-American engineers. Good job, keep driving some unreliable european POS.

For decades, GM has been infamous for buying other car companies, sucking their knowledge and masquerading it as “their own”..

GM never invented anything useful.

disbsam333 November 3, 2009 at 2:14 AM

Wow, someone doesn’t know about cars. You know the shocks on that car were invented by GM and Ferrari pays royalties on the technology.

yeah this german autobahn is like 50km away from my place, not the best choice for such a test, the A2 is way better^^

eruzaS November 5, 2009 at 10:48 PM

Who was it engineered by then?

sooperfukker November 9, 2009 at 2:07 AM

how unfortunate the zr1 wasn’t actually engineered by americans ^^

not horny my friend, simply perhaps ‘testing the limits’. that is a good quote for today’s society.

apalsenberg November 26, 2009 at 11:23 PM

the thing is that it does not show the motor like with the italians, there is another cover underneath the transparent bit which does not even show the shape of the engine…

cdub09son November 27, 2009 at 1:11 PM

its pointless but it looks kool, and it shows d motor, plus its popular, u havent seen a boss mustang with d shaker hood?

Hidezepickle November 29, 2009 at 12:57 AM
